Convert your old modem to a WIFI access point / Network HUB/ Switch


Make your old modem to a wifi access point / new wifi networks

Follow the steps 

1. log in the modem with the real admin user mode

2. Check your modem provider for the real admin user name and password

3. Navigate to home network

4. find out LAN interface tab

5. find out DHCP server interface ,

6. Disable DHCP server mode using click button( unclick it )

7. Go back to LAN interface setting

8. Change the IP address of the modem

9. Give a IP address out of your network

10. If confused give this number , 192.168.23.24

11. Wright this number in the modem/don't lost the number

12. if you want to change the wifi name and password change it from Wireless Option

12. save the settings

13. log out from the modem

14. connect the modem with internet via LAN port

15. your new wifi access point is ready now.

16. there is 4 LAN port in the modem , you can use other 2 port as a network Switch / HUB
