UV light replacements

UV water filter light replacements  

 1. Turn off the power of UV filter light ballets

2. Unplug the 3 pin plug from power point to make sure that this is fully isolated from power line 

3. there in 2 end of UV light , one side end with power cable from ballast , another end close by metal fittings .

4. Do not touch the metal fittings end, it can damage the UV light fittings

5. Pull the power cable slowly to outside. 

6. UV light will come out from its fittings

7. If needed pull the black plastic cover to see the UV light bulb connector

8. remove the old UV bulb from connector

9. completely Remove the UV light from the UV light filling 

10. Install new UV light in the UV light barrel

11. Carefully connect the UV light to the connector

12. there is no polarity in the connector but have to insert it right way

13. push the UV bulb inside the barrel

14. push the black plastic inside the barrel

15. put the 3 pin power plug back

16. turn on the power switch

17. if there is no sound from Ballast , job is done properly

18.if the ballast is making noise , UV light is not install properly, please check the connector , fix the connection

Some UV ballast need to reset after  bulb change , find out the reset switch and reset it . if any noise , this means there is some error .
